Position: Compliance Specialist

Location: Luanda - Angola

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team in Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company and its employees comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This position involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance across all company operations. The successful candidate must be proactive, have strong analytical skills, and previous experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures to mitigate potential compliance violations.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance issues.
  • Conduct internal investigations into potential compliance violations and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Stay up to date on changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that company policies are aligned with industry best practices. sector.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. A Masters degree in Compliance will be considered an asset.

  • Extensive knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance certification will be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, both verbal and written.
